CFA Institute Pleased With Delhi High Court Decision in Favor of CFA Exams
HONG KONG and CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., May 31, 2007 – “We learned today that the Delhi High Court has approved our petition to allow the more than 6,800 Indian CFA candidates to take the CFA exam locally on June 3,” said Jeff Diermeier, CFA, CFA Institute president and CEO. “CFA Institute is pleased with this decision, which allows us to say that CFA candidates can now take the exam as originally scheduled and share this experience with their candidate peers around the world. We believe in the importance of the CFA Program to the Indian investment community and we’re glad that the Delhi High Court ruled to permit the CFA exam to take place in India on June 3.”
Diermeier added that CFA Institute will soon send an official communication to all Indian candidates about their exam options. He encouraged those candidates to visit www.cfainstitute.org/india for updated information.
