Meetings with Standard Setters and Security Regulators
Members of the Corporate Disclosure Policy Council (CDPC) and the staff of the Financial Reporting Policy Group meet regularly with national and international standard setters and security regulators.

Georgene Palacky, member of the UAC and
director of the Financial Reporting Policy Group, met with other members
of the User Advisory Council to review approaches to distinguishing
liability from equity, alternatives to the current hedge accounting mode
in Statement 33 and
new research activities and initiatives.

CFA Institute survey on financial reporting and measurement, the final
draft of the Comprehensive
Business Reporting Model, and the CFA Institute Centre's position on
conceptual
framework.

Georgene Palacky met with security regulators in Europe to discuss financial reporting issues, including the convergence of IFRS and US GAAP, audit quality and auditors' liability, and other developing issues.
