Advisory Council

 

Proactively identifies and prioritizes important issues and serves as a sounding board for CFA Institute initiatives.

 

Corporate Disclosure Policy Council

 

Works on financial reporting, disclosure, and statement presentation issues affecting investors and the global capital markets.

Capital Markets Policy Council

 

Strengthens the integrity of the capital markets through initiatives addressing issues with significant industry implications, including corporate governance, shareowners' rights, and market self-regulation.

 

Standards of Practice Council

 

Develops and maintains and provides education on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct and other standards of practice.

XBRL Working Group

 

Addresses the global implementation of XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language).

 

GIPS Executive Committee

 

Promotes the adoption and implementation of a single investment performance presentation and is the decision-making authority for the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS). This committee replaced the former Investment Performance Council (IPC).

 

North American Investment Performance Committee

 

Acts as the country sponsor of the GIPS standards in the United States and Canada and promotes the adoption and implementation of the GIPS standards in North America.
