Standards of Practice Policy Council

 

The Standards of Practice Policy Council helps develop and promulgate all of our ethical standards, in particular our Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.

 

What We Do

Our commitment to ethical standards requires us to continually review the current CFA Institute standards for completeness and clarity. We also work with the staff of the Standards of Practice Policy Group to to develop new standards.

• Standards of Practice Handbook: The ninth edition of this text illustrates application of our standards in day-to-day professional activities and includes a self-administered exam
• Professional Conduct Statement: Signed by all members, the statement allows us to monitor compliance with the code and standards
