How long until you know if your membership application is accepted or not?

Processing time may take from 10-12 weeks.

 

How will you know if your membership application has been accepted?

You will receive a welcome e-mail verifying your membership status.

 

When can you start using the CFA designation?

You may use your designation once you have received a letter confirming the award of the charter from our president and CEO, Jeff Diermeier, CFA.  This letter will be mailed once your membership has been confirmed. 

 

Are there charter recognition events?

Many societies hold charter recognition events for new graduates between 15 October and 30 January. To receive your charter at a society event, contact Membership and ask to be included on the attendee list. Your charter will be sent to the society for presentation if you have met all requirements.

 

When will you get your charter?

Charters that are not presented at a society charter recognition event will be sent to your primary address from our charter printer and should arrive within 8 weeks after your charter award date.
