CFA Institute Member Societies
Our society works with a prep
provider program to deliver supplemental preparatory materials for CFA
Program candidates. Should our society commit to the Prep Provider
Guidelines Program?
CFA Institute member societies who work with a prep provider, but do not produce their own content or course, do not need to directly participate in the Prep Provider Guidelines Program. Societies can assist with the program by helping to ensure that the prep provider they have selected is either a Prep Provider Guidelines Program participant or is in compliance with the program.
How can societies assist with
the Prep Provider Guidelines Program?
Societies can assist with the program by helping to ensure that the prep provider they have selected is either a Prep Provider Guidelines Program participant or is in compliance with the program. In addition, societies can assist by helping to reinforce the messages of the educational purpose, rigor, and principles of the CFA Program.
Prep Providers
If I do not participate in the
Prep Provider Guidelines Program, can I still purchase candidate mailing
labels from CFA Institute?
No, only prep providers who participate in the Prep Provider Guidelines Program will have access to services like candidate mailing list purchase, candidate pass rate analysis reports, and Learning Outcome Statements (LOS) and sample question permissions.
Who should participate in the Prep Provider Guidelines Program?
The Prep Provider Guidelines Program is voluntary and open to participation to prep providers who develop their own content and/or courses and who agree to abide by all terms and conditions of the program. For details about the benefits and requirements of participation, please see the Prep Provider Guidelines Program Manual (PDF) for more details.
How will CFA Program candidates
be informed about the Prep Provider Guidelines Program and its
participants?

for prep provider materials, but we do not produce any of the content.
Can we participate in the Prep Provider Guidelines Program?
