To receive the CIPM certificate and begin using the CIPM designation, you must:

• Pass the Principles and Expert exams
• Become a member of the CIPM Association and pay annual membership dues
• Meet the work experience requirement

There are no prerequisites to enroll in the CIPM program. However, participants must agree to abide by the CIPM Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.

As a member of the CIPM Association, you must participate in the Mandatory Continuing Education program.
