CIPM Scholarships

The CIPM scholarship program offers a reduced exam registration fee for qualified candidates.

Review the requirements to become a CIPM certificant and to use the designation.

Scholarship Eligibility

A CIPM scholarship applicant must be:

  • A full-time employee of a degree-granting educational institution offering at least a bachelor’s or equivalent degree and teaching a minimum of 6 credit hours per quarter or semester.
OR
  • A full-time administrative employee of a degree-granting educational institution offering at least a bachelor’s or equivalent degree and teaching a minimum of 3 credit hours per quarter or semester.
OR
  • A full-time employee of a governmental body or financial regulator.

Fees

For the October 2012 exam offering, the CIPM exam registration fee is discounted to US$275.*

To facilitate the processing of your scholarship application and payment, please ensure you register for your exam only after you have applied and been approved for the scholarship.

Scholarship recipients are responsible for any applicable taxes.

Scholarships cannot be deferred to another exam offering.

Application Form and Instructions

Carefully read the following before completing the form:

  • Complete the application by typing directly into the editable scholarship form (below) where indicated so that your contact information may be easily read.
  • Print the completed form and then add your signature and date.
  • Scan the completed form and e-mail it to CFA Institute at cmservices@cfainstitute.org. Please submit the form only once and keep a copy of your e-mail for your records.
