Enroll in the CIPM Program and Register for an Exam Getting started in the CIPM program:

Review program policies, program and exam schedule and enrollment and exam fees.
Enrollment in the program and exam registration are only available during certain periods. Check the schedule first, then enroll in the CIPM program during open enrollment by signing up for the Principles exam.
Receive a confirmation e-mail from us containing curriculum and exam appointment information.
Wait 48 hours for your information to transfer to Pearson VUE, our testing partner.
Schedule your exam with Pearson VUE.
Prepare for the Principles exam using online courseware.

Moving on to the Expert exam or re-taking the Principles exam:

Review the program and exam schedule and enrollment and exam fees
Check the enrollment period schedule and then sign up for the exam.
Receive a confirmation e-mail from us containing curriculum and exam appointment information
Wait 48 hours for your information to transfer to Pearson VUE, our testing partner
When you return to the Pearson VUE site you will use the access information you created when you signed up for your first exam. (Disregard the password contained in the confirmation e-mail.)
