Robert Arnott is chairman and CEO of Research Affiliates®, LLC, a leader in creating innovative investing and asset allocation strategies. There, he introduced the Fundamental Index® methodology, built on a theoretical foundation that challenges some of the core assumptions of modern finance. He is the author of more than 100 articles for refereed finance journals and is a recipient of five Graham and Dodd Scrolls from the Financial Analysts Journal and two Bernstein Fabozzi/Jacobs Levy Awards from the Journal of Portfolio Management. Mr. Arnott is also co-author of The Fundamental Index: A Better Way to Invest. He holds degrees in economics, applied mathematics, and computer science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
