This report provides comprehensive data underlying the Credit Suisse Global Wealth Report, which is a comprehensive study that measures and analyzes trends in wealth across nations, from the bottom of the “wealth pyramid” all the way up to the ultra high net worth sector. This report, released in October 2012, highlighted world household wealth as declining 5% to around USD 223 trillion from mid-2011 to mid-2012, with sizable declines in Europe (-14%) and India (-18%) and modest gains in China (+3%) and North America (+1%).
