Change your Membership Status

 

Add/Transfer Membership: Add membership in one or more societies or request to transfer your current membership from one society to another using the status change form (PDF).

 

Upgrade Membership: If you meet the necessary requirements to upgrade from affiliate to regular membership, contact CFA Institute with your updated work experience information or complete the membership upgrade form (PDF).

 

Change Retired Membership Status: If you meet the retired membership requirements on the status change form (PDF), submit the form to CFA Institute. If you are currently a retired member but no longer qualify for retired status, use the form to request a return to full membership.

 

Reinstate Membership: If you were previously a member but your membership has lapsed, reinstate your membership by completing the reinstate form (PDF).
