CFA Institute Partners

As the largest association of investment professionals in the world, with over 100,000 members and over 130 regional societies located on six continents, we are able to offer significant opportunities for mutually beneficial global partnerships.

University Partners

We have formal partnerships with over 100 universities around the globe. These institutions incorporate the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge and the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct in their business and finance degree programs. Through our university partnerships, we help ground academic curricula in relevant, real-world knowledge and ethical decision making, bridging the gap between theory and practice, and ultimately building a stronger global investment profession. Global Investment Research Challenge

Teams of highly motivated university students compete in this annual global competition judged by CFA Institute member-volunteers. Partnering universities and CFA societies work with corporate sponsors and participating public companies to convene a series of local and regional competitions that culminate in a global championship. The event is an unparalleled opportunity for students to learn the current best practices of financial analysis and equity research by demonstrating their skills to real-world industry employers and experts. Learn more

Corporate Sales

Our partnerships with top-tier corporate sponsors help us provide members with the latest and most relevant resources, as well as generating vital revenues that support ongoing CFA Institute programs. Our corporate sales team helps sponsors meet their targeted goals by analyzing the demographics of over 100,000 CFA Institute members around the world, identifying appropriate market segments, and creating marketing plans that provide access to members through print, online, and face-to-face opportunities. Some candidates, however, may benefit from using third-party exam preparation courses, review notes, or both as a study supplement. CFA Institute offers the CFA exam Prep Providers Guidelines Program and the CIPM exam Trainer Guidelines Program. Learn more
