CIPM Trainer Guidelines

The CIPM Trainer Guidelines Program was established by CFA Institute and the CIPM program to help providers of CIPM prep programs, products, and services improve their training process for CIPM program candidates.

Participation in the guidelines program is voluntary and open to prep providers who develop their own content and/or courses and who agree to abide by all terms and conditions of the CIPM Trainer Guidelines Program.

CIPM Trainer Guidelines Program Goals

• To improve overall communications to candidates and potential candidates about the value and educational rigor of the CIPM program
• To provide informational service benefits for prep providers to stay current regarding candidate trends and operational changes in the structure of the CIPM program
• To ensure uniform compliance with high standards of communications regarding the supplemental role of CIPM prep provider products in candidate exam preparation

Participate in the Trainer Guidelines Program

• Review the CIPM program materials copyright permission policy.
• Review the CIPM brand guidelines.
• Read the Trainer Guidelines Program manual (PDF) for details about the benefits and requirements of participation.
• Submit a completed program application (PDF), including product and service documentation, to us for review.
