University Recognition Program

The purpose of this program is to recognize the efforts of academic institutions that embed a significant portion of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK), including the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, into their curricula.

Through cooperation with a large number of universities around the world, we seek to promote ethics-based investment education in university degree programs aimed at developing serious investment professionals.

Recognized universities are not expected to contribute to CFA Institute’s strategic objectives, but:

  • are listed on the CFA Institute website and other venues;
  • may award CFA Program scholarships (PDF) to students if they agree to promote the CFA Program and attest to their promotional activities;
  • may reference their CFA Institute endorsement in promoting their programs.

Selection for this group is considered on a case-by-case basis.
