The Claritas computer-based exam is in English and contains 120 multiple-choice questions. The exam is offered at many Pearson VUE test centers around the world. See if the exam is offered in your area.

Exam Timing

You should plan to be at the test center for approximately two and a half hours, to

  • check-in (two forms of valid ID will be required; review the ID policy)
  • review the exam tutorial screens
  • review and agree to the Claritas Candidate Pledge
  • complete the two-hour, multiple-choice exam and review your answers.

You will have two hours (120 minutes) to complete 120 exam questions and review your answers.

While taking the exam you can “flag” questions to review after you've answered all the questions, but that review time is part of the two-hour total time you're given to complete the exam.

Exam Questions

The exam questions cover all the topics included in your eBook; however, some topics are emphasized more than others. Below is the approximate weighting for each module and access to some sample exam questions.
