Help Why Create An Account?

To register for CFA Institute events, access our webcasts or podcasts, or become a candidate or member, you must have an account.

You can create an account with the following information:

  • Your name and e-mail address
  • The username and password you prefer
  • Four challenge questions and answers (adds a layer of security to your account)

You must activate your account by clicking on the link provided in the confirmation e-mail you receive. (If you already created an account and did not receive a confirmation e-mail, check to see whether it is in your spam folder. If it's not there, contact us so we can help you activate your account.)

CFA Program and CIPM Program

Create an account to enroll in the program, register for an exam, and become a candidate. (If you became a candidate using a printed application — you can create an account now.) CFA candidates, once you've enrolled in the program, log in to register for an exam or an event, get your exam admission ticket, and access your sample or mock exam.
