Diane C. Nordin, CFA, is a director at Fannie Mae and Antares Capital and a former partner at Wellington Management Company. At Wellington, she held several roles—including director of fixed income, director of global relationships management, and director of fixed-income management—and served on numerous committees. Previously, Nordin worked at Fidelity Investments and Putnam Advisory Company. She is a trustee of Wheaton College and a board member of Massachusetts College of Art and Design Foundation and the Appalachian Mountain Club. Nordin is a member of the CFA Society Boston and a graduate of Wheaton College.

Heather Brilliant, CFA, is Chief Executive Officer, Americas and acting Chief Operating Officer at First State Investments. Heather is responsible for managing the business in the Americas and further expanding First State Investments’ market presence across the region. As acting COO, she also provides strategic leadership and oversight to the firm’s global operations, technology, and project management teams. She is a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee. Heather has worked in the industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining First State Investments in 2017, she spent 14 years at Morningstar most recently as Chief Executive Officer of Morningstar Australasia. In this role, Heather devised and drove various initiatives based on functional and local market priorities, including the development and implementation of a 10-year strategy to accelerate business growth. Preceding this, she led the equity and corporate credit research teams at Morningstar, consisting of more than 100 analysts based in offices around the world. Previously, Heather spent several years as an equity research analyst for Coghill Capital Management and Driehaus Capital Management. She has covered a variety of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, business services, and retail. She started her finance career at Bank of America as a corporate finance analyst covering the auto industry. Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is chairman of the CFA Institute Board of Governors and past chair of the CFA Society of Chicago.

Robert Jenkins, FSIP, is an external member of the interim Financial Policy Committee of the Bank of England and an adjunct professor of finance at London Business School. Previously, he was CEO and managing partner of Combinatorics Capital, a global macro investment partnership. Prior to his position at Combinatorics, Jenkins served as chief executive and then as chairman at F&C Asset Management, plc. Earlier in his career, at Citibank, he was responsible for trading and sales in Dubai, Bahrain, Switzerland, and Japan. After his time at Citibank, he served as chief investment officer and head of the asset management business at Credit Suisse in Japan and later as chief operating officer for Credit Suisse Asset Management's activities in the U.K. and central and eastern Europe. Jenkins chaired the Investment Management Association of the U.K. and co-chaired, together with the Chancellor of the Exchequer, a high-level group focusing on the future of the asset management industry in Britain. He has also served on the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers, U.K.; as a senior advisor to CVC Capital Partners; and as an independent director of the Aberdeen All Asia Investment Trust. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and regular contributor of articles and letters to the financial press. Jenkins attended university in the U.S., France, and Italy and holds a master's degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

Frédéric P. Lebel, CFA, has been co-CEO and CIO of OFI MGA and owner of HFS Hedge Fund Selection S.A., based in Geneva, since 2008. Prior to this, he had been an executive vice president at Lombard Odier & Cie in Geneva in charge of hedge fund investments since 1997, after having worked for two years as an assistant to Philippe A. Sarasin, CFA, one of the bank’s managing partners. He began his career in the equity division of Morgan Stanley in New York prior to moving to London. Lebel was founding Co-Chair and then Chair of the European Advocacy Committee in 2000, and the founding Chair and a member of the Capital Market Policy Council of the CFA Institute Centre for Financial Market Integrity. He is currently the Past Chair of the CFA Institute Board of Governors as well as Chair of the Compensation Committee, the Nominating Committee, and the Planning Committee. A past recipient of the Daniel J. Forrestal III Leadership Award for Professional Ethics and Standards of Investment Practice, Lebel holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in finance and accounting from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Hua Yu, CFA, is Chairman of the Board at Morgan Stanley Huaxin Fund Management Co., Ltd., a joint venture that focuses on investing in stocks and bonds in China. Before his transfer to the joint venture in 2008, Yu served as Managing Director and Head of China Business at Investment Management Division of Morgan Stanley Asia Co. Prior to 2008, Yu held different positions as board director and CEO of Dacheng Fund Management Company, Chief Representative of London Life Insurance Co. in China, Vice President of financial service business at Power Corporation of Canada, and Head of research at Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Yu received a BA in economics from Peking University, an MBA and a PhD in finance from Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. After his graduation in Europe, he was a faculty member in finance at several universities in the United Kingdom and Canada before commencing his career in business finance. Yu has served as Deputy Chairman of the Asset Management Association of China since 2012. He was Board member of International Investment Funds Association (IIFA) from 2008 to 2010.
