Sunil Singhania, CFA, is the Founder of Abakkus Asset Management, LLP, an India-focused Asset Management Company he established in 2018. Prior to this, in his role as Global Head – Equities at Reliance Capital Ltd., he oversaw equity assets and provided strategic inputs across Reliance Capital Group of companies including asset management, insurance, AIF and offshore assets. And as CIO – Equities, Singhania led Reliance Mutual Fund equity schemes to be rated amongst the best. Reliance Growth Fund grew over 100 times in less than 22 years under Singhania’s leadership. Furthermore, he led Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management Ltd.’s international efforts and was instrumental in launching India funds in Japan, South Korea, and the UK, besides managing mandates from institutional investors based in the US, Singapore, and other countries. Singhania was the Promoter of The Association of NSE Members of India; a body of stock brokers. He is also the first individual from India to be elected as a member of the CFA Institute Board of Governors and currently serves as the Chair of the Investment Committee and as a member of the Nominating Committee. He also sat on CFA Institute’s Standards of Practice Council for six years, and was the Founder of the Indian Association of Investment Professionals (now CFA Society India) and served as its President for eight years. Singhania graduated in commerce from the Bombay University and completed his Chartered Accountancy from the ICAI, Delhi with an all India rank. He has also earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, conferred by CFA Institute. Having traveled extensively across the world, Singhania has also attended many global investment conferences and seminars.

As managing director of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Gary Baker leads the EMEA team to deliver measurable value to CFA Institute stakeholders and constituents throughout the region. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the EMEA region and strengthening relationships with member societies, as well as institutions, universities, regulators, and institutional partners in the region. In his role, Baker aims to strengthen the voice of CFA Institute on behalf of members to key stakeholders in the region. He is responsible for supporting CFA Institute policy development in EMEA, advancing the impact of advocacy efforts, and supporting EMEA member societies in delivering value to members and candidates. He also has a key focus on increasing charterholder commitment to continuing education. Additionally, he has management responsibility for research functions across CFA Institute, including the Financial Analysts Journal, the Future of Finance initiative, and the Research Foundation. Baker is based in London. Baker has been engaged in financial market investment research for the past 30 years with a highly successful track record in a wide range of sell-side strategic, analytic, and management roles. He previously worked at Merrill Lynch for 20 years in a number of global roles, including managing director and Chief European Equity Strategist. Most recently, he was Deputy Head of Research with Jefferies in London. During his career, Baker has been a leader in country, regional, and global roles across Europe, Asia, Australia, and the United States. He holds a master's degree in geography from Cambridge University and earned the CFA charter in 1997.

As CFO and managing director, Diane Basile leads the treasury, business planning and analysis, and finance and operations teams. She is responsible for the financial leadership of CFA Institute and contributing to the organization’s strategic evolution and global expansion. Basile is based in Charlottesville, Virginia. During her more than 20 years of experience in finance, Basile served as senior vice president, CFO, and treasurer for American Science & Engineering, and CFO for Intronis and Nuance’s Healthcare Division. In addition, she has held finance positions at Fidelity Investments, Merrill Lynch & Co., PerkinElmer, and Digital Equipment. Basile holds a master’s degree in finance from Boston College and a BS degree in economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She earned the CFA charter in 2007.

Daniel Fasciano, CFA, is Managing Director and Family Wealth Investment Advisor at BNY Mellon Wealth Management. He rejoined the firm in 2010 and is a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Committee. Prior to his return, Mr. Fasciano served as the Treasury Director for the State of Florida, where he was responsible for all investment activities related to the state’s $16 billion portfolio. Before his work for the State of Florida, he was the Head of US Investment Office for Aviva Investors, one of the UK’s largest insurance and investment firms. He began his career on the private wealth team at Mellon Financial in 1990. Mr. Fasciano is currently serving as Chair of the CFA Institute Presidents Council, after three years of serving as Presidents Council Representative representing the Eastern United States. He is a past Board member and Chair of CFA Society Boston. Mr. Fasciano received his BA from the University of New Hampshire and his MBA from Boston University. In addition to the CFA designation, he also holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.

Bob Dannhauser, CFA, FRM, CAIA, is the Head of Global Private Wealth Management at CFA Institute. In this role, Bob is responsible for initiatives related to private wealth management, including content development for private wealth management practitioners. Bob has more than twenty years' experience as an institutional investment marketer and client portfolio manager, having worked with a wide variety of corporate, public, union, high net worth, and eleemosynary investment funds. He is the former chair of the New York Society of Security Analysts' Socially Responsible Investment committee, where as a volunteer he was responsible for producing a variety of seminars and presentations related to use of ESG factors in the investment process.
