Daniel Fasciano, CFA, is managing director and family wealth investment advisor at BNY Mellon Wealth Management. He rejoined the firm in 2010 and is a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Committee. Prior to his return, Mr. Fasciano served as the treasury director for the state of Florida, where he was responsible for all investment activities related to the state’s $16 billion portfolio. Before his work for the state of Florida, he was the head of the U.S. investment office for Aviva Investors, one of the UK’s largest insurance and investment firms. He began his career on the private wealth team at Mellon Financial in 1990. Mr. Fasciano is currently serving as chair of the CFA Institute Presidents Council, after three years of serving as Presidents Council representative, representing the eastern United States. He is a past board member and chair of CFA Society Boston. Mr. Fasciano received his BA from the University of New Hampshire and his MBA from Boston University. In addition to the CFA designation, he also holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.

As managing director of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Gary Baker leads the EMEA team to deliver measurable value to CFA Institute stakeholders and constituents throughout the region. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the EMEA region and strengthening relationships with member societies, as well as institutions, universities, regulators, and institutional partners in the region. In his role, Baker aims to strengthen the voice of CFA Institute on behalf of members to key stakeholders in the region. He is responsible for supporting CFA Institute policy development in EMEA, advancing the impact of advocacy efforts, and supporting EMEA member societies in delivering value to members and candidates. He also has a key focus on increasing charterholder commitment to continuing education. Additionally, he has management responsibility for research functions across CFA Institute, including the Financial Analysts Journal, the Future of Finance initiative, and the Research Foundation. Baker is based in London. Baker has been engaged in financial market investment research for the past 30 years with a highly successful track record in a wide range of sell-side strategic, analytic, and management roles. He previously worked at Merrill Lynch for 20 years in a number of global roles, including managing director and Chief European Equity Strategist. Most recently, he was Deputy Head of Research with Jefferies in London. During his career, Baker has been a leader in country, regional, and global roles across Europe, Asia, Australia, and the United States. He holds a master's degree in geography from Cambridge University and earned the CFA charter in 1997.

Bob Dannhauser, CFA, FRM, CAIA, is the Head of Global Private Wealth Management at CFA Institute. In this role, Bob is responsible for initiatives related to private wealth management, including content development for private wealth management practitioners. Bob has more than twenty years' experience as an institutional investment marketer and client portfolio manager, having worked with a wide variety of corporate, public, union, high net worth, and eleemosynary investment funds. He is the former chair of the New York Society of Security Analysts' Socially Responsible Investment committee, where as a volunteer he was responsible for producing a variety of seminars and presentations related to use of ESG factors in the investment process.

As interim CFO, Jeff Knighton leads the treasury, business planning and analysis, and finance and operations teams. He is responsible for the financial leadership of CFA Institute and for contributing to the organization’s strategic evolution and global expansion. Knighton is based in Charlottesville, Virginia. During his more than 20 years of experience in finance, Knighton served in various financial leadership positions within global organizations. Prior to joining CFA Institute in August 2017 as controller, Knighton served as senior finance manager and worldwide operations finance controller for Micron Technology, Inc., based in Singapore. In addition, he has held finance positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co., LexisNexis, and Allstate Insurance Company. Knighton holds an MBA from Virginia Tech and a BS degree in Finance from Radford University. In addition, he is a licensed CPA in the state of Virginia.

Punita Kumar-Sinha, PhD, CFA, has focused on investment management and financial markets during her 30-year career. She also has significant governance and Board experience across India and North America. Ms. Kumar-Sinha has been investing in emerging markets since the late 1980s and pioneered some of the first foreign investments in the Indian subcontinent in the early 1990s. Currently, she is the Founder and Managing Partner, Pacific Paradigm Advisors, an independent investment advisory and management firm focused on Asia. She serves as an Independent Director and Senior Advisor for several companies in India. Prior to this, Ms. Kumar-Sinha was a Senior Managing Director of Blackstone and the Head & Chief Investment Officer of Blackstone Asia Advisors. Ms. Kumar-Sinha was also the Senior Portfolio Manager and CIO for The India Fund (NYSE: IFN), one of the largest India funds in the US, for almost 15 years; during this time, she managed several Asia funds as well. Prior to joining Blackstone, Ms. Kumar-Sinha was a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Oppenheimer Asset Management Inc. and CIBC World Markets, where she also managed India and Asia funds. She has also worked at Batterymarch (a Legg Mason company), Standish Ayer & Wood (a BNY Mellon company), JP Morgan, and IFC/World Bank. Ms. Kumar-Sinha is frequently featured in the media and at global conferences as an expert commentator on Asian capital markets and women’s issues. She has also anchored many TV shows on major economic trends, key policy issues for India, and global capital markets. Ms. Kumar-Sinha has a PhD and a master’s in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering with Distinction from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. She has an MBA and is a CFA charterholder. Ms. Kumar-Sinha is a member of CFA Institute, a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, a TiE Charter Member, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Ms. Kumar-Sinha has been awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT Delhi.
