Overview

In line with the global regulatory trends, the latest registered investment advisor (RIA) regulatory changes have raised the bar for the license, increased professionalism, and paved the way for strong structural growth. With less than 500 RIAs who are financial planners and wealth planners for a population of more than 1.2 billion and a small investor base of 20 million, the fiduciary RIA has tremendous potential and opportunities for growth in a nascent wealth management industry.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Discuss how RIAs and the corporate setup are the best ways to capture this growth
  • Examine what it takes to be a successful adviser
  • Capture the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
