About the Speaker(s)
Jason A. Voss, CFA, is CEO of Active Investment Management (AIM) Consulting. Previously, he was director of content at CFA Institute. Mr. Voss also served as the co-portfolio manager of the Davis Appreciation & Income Fund, which bested the S&P 500 Index by more than 40%, earned a Lipper No. 1 ranking, and was one of Morningstar’s first 10 mutual funds given a Stewardship Grade of “A.” He is the author of 15 major publications, including Lie Detection: Theory & Practice for Investment Professionals, history's first scientific research into investment pros' ability to detection deception, and over 1,000 articles on investing featured in Enterprising Investor, Forbes, and Seeking Alpha. Mr. Voss is co-host of the From the Research Chair, A Focus Consulting Group podcast, and serves on several boards, including the Framework Panel of the International Integrated Reporting Council. He received a BA in economics, a minor BA in history, and an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Colorado.
