Jason A. Voss, CFA, is CEO of Active Investment Management (AIM) Consulting, LLC, a firm advising active investment managers on how to improve their cultures and performance. Prior, he served as global content director at CFA Institute. Previously, Mr. Voss was co-portfolio manager of the Davis Appreciation & Income Fund. He is the author of multiple books, including Return of the Active Manager, The Intuitive Investor, and Valuation Techniques: Discounted Cash Flow, Earnings Quality, Measures of Value Added, and Real Options. Mr. Voss is a frequent writer and speaker about how active investment managers may improve their performance. He has published research in multiple journals, including the Journal of Private Equity, the Journal of Behavioral Finance, and the Swiss accounting journal, IRZ. His research interests include financial statement analysis, geopolitics, intuition, lie detection, and meditation. Mr. Voss earned his BA in economics and MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Colorado.
