The Future of Finance Content Council was established in January 2017 to assist with Future of Finance content creation and dissemination.

Roger Urwin, FSIP

Roger Urwin is global head of investment content at Willis Towers Watson and the cofounder of the Thinking Ahead Group. Previously, he served as global head of investment at Towers Watson. Mr. Urwin also headed the investment practice at Mercer and led the business development and quantitative investment functions at Gartmore Investment Management. His investment innovations include the origination of target date defined contribution funds, the risk budget framework, and the governance budget framework for assessing asset owner organizational effectiveness. Mr. Urwin is also the author of a number of papers on asset allocation policy, manager selection, and governance and sustainability. He is an advisory director to MSCI and served on the CFA Institute Board of Governors. Mr. Urwin is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in applied statistics from Oxford University.

Giuseppe Ballocchi, CFA

Giuseppe Ballocchi most recently served as the head of financial engineering and risk analytics at Pictet & Cie in Geneva, Switzerland. He also lectures at the University of Lausanne, where he is a member of the Steering Committee of the Master in Finance. He also serves as a foreign exchange advisor to a microfinance fund. Previously, he was chief investment officer at Olsen Ltd, a fixed-income manager at the Asian Development Bank in Manila and a high-energy physicist at CERN. Mr. Ballocchi served two terms as chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of the CFA Institute Board of Governors and is a past president of the Swiss CFA Society, where he also served as chair of continuing education and university relations. He has been a CFA exam grader, served on the Executive Advisory Board of the Education Advisory Committee of the CFA Institute and on the Annual Conference Committee, and was on the Board of Regents of the Financial Analysts Seminar. Mr. Ballocchi holds a laurea (MS) in physics from the University of Bologna (Italy), an MBA from the Open University (United Kingdom), and a PhD in high-energy physics from the University of Rochester (United States). He is the author of 30 academic publications in physics and finance, and served as adjunct professor at the University of Genoa (Italy).

Richard Brandweiner 

Richard Brandweiner, CFA

Richard Brandweiner joined LeapFrog Investments as a Partner in 2017. He has a long history within the investment industry in Australia. In 2015, Mr. Brandweiner was named in the Power 100 of Top CIOs in the World and in 2016 he was awarded the Australian CIO of the Year. Richard has more than twenty years’ investment experience across all asset classes. Before joining LeapFrog, Richard was the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at First State Super, one of Australia’s largest superannuation funds with over $75 billion in funds under management at the time of his departure.

Anne Cabot-Alletzhauser

Anne Cabot-Alletzhauser heads up the Alexander Forbes Research Institute – an initiative that looks at the full spectrum of issues that confront the savings and investment issues for South Africa and Africa in general. Prior to that she was an asset manager and CIO for 32 years, managing pension fund assets in North America, Japan, the UK, Europe and South Africa. In 1994, she pioneered the development of the multi-manager management approach of pension fund management that has become the hallmark of that industry today.

Margaret E. Franklin, CFA

Margaret E. Franklin is president of BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Canada. Previously, she was president of Marret Private Wealth and served in senior positions at Barclays Global Investors, State Street Global Advisors, and Mercer. Ms. Franklin is the former chair of the Board of Governors of CFA Institute and a past president of the Toronto CFA Society. She received a bachelor’s degree in economics from McMaster University.

Lutfey Siddiqi, CFA

Lutfey Siddiqi is a Visiting Professor-in-Practice at LSE where he is also a Governor and advisory board member of the Systemic Risk Centre. He is an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore, and was a founding faculty member of the Risk Management Institute. He is a member of the World Economic Forum Council on Long-term Investing and Infrastructure, the Bretton Woods Committee and advisory board of the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF). Mr. Siddiqi is a former board member of CFA Singapore and an inaugural member of CFA Bangladesh. He was previously a Managing Director and member of the global executive committee for FX, Rates & Credit at UBS with responsibility for emerging markets. At UBS, he was also a member of the Group Sustainability Council, the investment bank innovation board and the cross-divisional panel of opinion leaders. Prior to that, he ran business lines across Asia-Pacific as an MD for UBS and Barclays.
