Navneet Kumar
Navneet Kumar CFA

Navneet Kumar, CFA, CQF, is Executive Director, Data Science Research at MSCI, India. In this role, he is responsible for the research and development of quantitative investment solutions. He is a senior member of the Mumbai research team and the MSCI India Academy. He is also a Professor of Practice' at Chandigarh University.
Before joining MSCI in 2015, Kumar was a member of the research team at ARP Investments, a US-based Hedge fund, from 2011 to 2015, working on developing and executing quantitative equity investment strategies. He worked with WNS Global Solution in the Performance and Risk Management division between 2010 and 2011 and with HSBC Asset Management between 2007 and 2010 in the quantitative investment division.
His interests lie in Factor and Portfolio Construction, Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation, Optimization, and Machine Learning. He has written about Factor investment, ESG investment, and Global Portfolio construction.
He earned a master’s degree in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is a CFA and CQF charterholder.

Litesh Gada
Litesh Gada CFA

Litesh Gada is extremely passionate about equity investments and has almost 15 years of professional experience in private equity, investment management, direct tax (advisory), mergers and acquisitions (tax and regulatory), and corporate finance. He has rich and in-depth knowledge in valuation, investment structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and transfer pricing. Gada has hands-on experience in the entire investment process from deal initiation until disbursement of money to the companies. He has been responsible for monitoring and handholding portfolio companies on a regular basis. Gada’s core expertise is to assist midsize and small companies that have growth potential in raising funds and scaling operations. Gada is a CFA® charterholder, chartered accountant (CA), and company secretary (CS). He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in commerce from Mumbai University.
