Career Insights: Transaction Advisory Services

Overview

In today’s complex economic and financial world, successful and timely completion of a transaction—whether in an acquisition, a merger, divesture, carve-out, or joint venture—is equally complex and challenging. Transaction advisory services (TAS) is a fast-growing and exciting segment of consulting services that helps companies through this process. Working with companies from the early stages of a deal lifecycle, TAS finds, evaluates, and closes a transaction as well as manages its financial and operational impact after closing. TAS offers a multifaceted and dynamic career in the merger and acquisition (M&A) space. TAS professionals not only help their clients meet their growth strategy and financial goals but also are the custodians of acceptable accounting practices, financial transparency, and regulatory principles.

Join us for this webinar in which Sonia Bakshi shares insight into the exciting world of TAS, including its growing importance to a multitude of stakeholders in the M&A process, including buyers, sellers, lenders, investors, and regulators; its transformation with the emergence of new-age technologies and data analytics tools; its driving factors, including economic and M&A trends; and industry and business dynamics. She also shares how all this makes for a compelling career opportunity!

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn how TAS is evolving in its nature and significance along with technology.
  • Examine the skills, competencies, and personality traits needed to be a successful TAS professional.
