CFA Institute Membership Dues Refund Policy

Members may cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, regardless of whether benefits have been used. Charterholder, Professional, and Affiliate members may receive a partial refund within 14 days for the following circumstances:

Refund of CFA Society dues when a member cancels a CFA Society membership

Refund of partial CFA Institute dues within 14 days of renewal for a change in status from full to Professional Leave membership or when a member relocates to a LIPP market

For Associate membership, partial refunds are not permitted under any circumstances

Where Associate Membership is purchased with other products (e.g., educational products or discounted bundles) and items are financially or eligibility-linked, cancellation will result in a full refund of the entire order (partial cancellation is not supported).

Where no such dependency exists, membership may be cancelled independently for a full refund.
