Who is eligible for Professional membership?
To join CFA Institute as a Professional member, you must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and 4,000 hours of work experience. You must receive a passing score for the Level I CFA Exam, CIPM® Program Level II Exam, RBA Netherlands exam, the self-administered Standards of Practice exam, or hold the ASIP designation.

Professional membership offers all the same benefits and voting rights while you continue progressing in your career. When you complete the CFA Program, you will automatically be upgraded to Charterholder membership.
