CFA Institute Reports Results for CFA Program Level II Testing in August

CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals, announces that of 10,565 candidates worldwide who sat for the Level II CFA® Program exam in August, 29 percent have passed. All candidates will be notified of their results today.

“We know how disheartening it will be for candidates who have not been successful this time,” Jobst said. “Unfortunately, we are still seeing fewer candidates pass their CFA exams due to the impact of the global pandemic on candidate study timelines. Repeating study plans after an examination deferral is daunting for most students, and this is again borne out in today’s results.”
The Learning Ecosystem is an adaptive online learning tool exclusively available to CFA Program candidates and includes study planning tools, a progress tracker, and mock examinations. The Learning Ecosystem is designed to help candidates focus on their needs, strengths, and areas of weakness in preparation for their exams.
Candidates who do not pass their CFA exam receive score band information, which shows each candidate how they performed relative to all unsuccessful candidates. In addition, CFA Institute has recently made available Explaining Recent CFA Exam Results – which addresses recent exam administration pass rates during the global pandemic.
