CFA Institute Launches Student Video Contest to Help Shape the Future of Finance

CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals that sets the standard for professional excellence, today launched a video contest open to university students around the world. Part of the organization’s Future of Finance initiative, the contest invites investment professionals of the future to create a short video that answers the question: What should the financial industry do to better serve investors and society? Winning contestant(s) will receive a 16 GB Apple iPad 2.

All video entries must be received by December 16 and will be featured on the CFA Institute YouTube channel. Students can submit videos of 30 to 45 seconds in length, either as a solo project or in teams of two. Videos must be submitted through the contest submission form and uploaded to YouTube. The student video contest is part of the CFA Institute Future of Finance initiative, a long-term global effort to shape a trustworthy, forward-thinking financial industry that better serves society. Launched earlier this year, the initiative aims to provide the tools to motivate and empower the world of finance to commit to fairness, improved understanding, and personal integrity.
