Mock Exam FAQs
Can I take the Prometric delivered mock exam more than one time?
Yes, you can take the Prometric delivered mock exam as many times as you would like (as long as you have purchased the Practice Pack). Trying to retake it within minutes of a previous completion may result in an access error screen. If this happens, try again in 15 minutes or again after 24 hours.
Will the questions be different each time I take the Prometric delivered mock exam?
No. The questions will be the same but randomized. There is only one exam form for all 2024 mock exams.
What score should I aim to achieve in order to be successful on exam day?
Candidates who score 70% on at least one official mock exam are nearly 2x more likely to pass their exam.
Are there detailed explanations (rationales) for the mock exam questions like in the LES?
No, but you can see which questions you missed in the on-screen-feedback along with the correct answers.
Can I return to the exam to view the on-screen feedback later?
No, but you will receive an emailed score report which shows your overall performance and performance by category.
Are the questions in the Prometric delivered mock exam different from questions in the LES mock exams?
Yes, the Prometric delivered mock exam uses different questions than the mock exams delivered in the LES.
How do I pause the Prometric delivered mock exam?
There is no way to pause the mock exam. You may exit the exam by closing the browser. As long as you have not submitted your answers, you will pick up where you left off when you relaunch the exam.
I erroneously exited my Prometric delivered mock exam. What do I do?
If you accidentally closed the browser window, you will be able to relaunch the exam and pick up where you left off. However, if you accidentally clicked the “finish test’ button, you will have to start the exam over. If you do not complete an unfinished exam within 24 hours, your exam will auto-complete and you will need to start the exam over.
