CIPM® Program scholarships allow more people to participate in the program. View available scholarships below or take advantage of our scholarship assessment tool to find the one best suited for you. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis.
The CIPM® Program offers scholarships to:
- Students at universities participating in our University Affiliation Program.
- Full-time employees of a degree-granting educational institution offering at least a bachelor’s or equivalent degree and teaching a minimum of 6 credit hours per quarter or semester or full-time administrative employees of a degree-granting educational institution offering at least a bachelor’s or equivalent degree and teaching a minimum of 3 credit hours per quarter or semester.

The CIPM Program also offers scholarships to Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) volunteers and industry regulators.
- For the GIPS standards scholarship, applicants must be an eligible GIPS standards volunteer.
- Be an employee of financial regulators, central banks, securities commissions, qualifying stock exchanges, SROs and/or government entities. Specifically, those entities that oversee or regulate operations, standards of practice or business conduct of the investment management industry and which have entered into a program agreement with CFA Institute.
