Professional Learning is designed to give you broad latitude in selecting from a wide variety of opportunities and formats that are relevant to your role—and for the designation you have earned.
We encourage all members to participate in Professional Learning. CIPM designation holders are required to complete Professional Learning annually to maintain their designations and are encouraged to participate in the voluntary program for all members.

PL for MembersWe encourage CFA charterholders and members to earn at least 20 PL credits (including 2 credits in the areas of Standards, Ethics, and Regulations) throughout the membership year, whether you are using CFA Institute materials or resources from elsewhere.

CIPM MPL Program
CIPM designation holders are required to earn 15 PL credits annually in order to maintain their designation. These credits can also apply to the voluntary program for all members.
