How to Share Your Achievements

Celebrate your achievement as a CFA® charterholder, a CIPM® designation holder, a certificate holder such as the Certificate in ESG Investing or Investment Foundations® Program, or as a successful candidate on your CFA Program journey. Follow these guidelines to properly display your CFA Institute program status in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. CFA Institute protects the designation and programs that you've worked so hard to accomplish by enforcing these Standards.

Stand Out with a Digital Badge

We distribute digital badges acknowledging your progression through our programs and certificates via our digital badge vendor, Accredible. Once you pass an exam or earn your CFA charter, you will receive an email from [email protected] with a link to your certificate and/or badge.

CFA Program candidates who pass their exam began receiving these digital badges starting with the February 2024 results release.

If you cannot find the email with your digital badge link, please login to your Accredible account. If you did not create an account when you first received your badge, click the Retrieve a Credential button on the Accredible website.

Badges can be shared on a variety of social media platforms. Click into a badge to see additional information about who the badge was issued to and when. If a user selects “Verify Credential”, they will receive additional information about the badge.

How to Share on LinkedIn

After you've earned your CFA designation, CIPM designation, or a certificate such as Investment Foundations or the Certificate in ESG Investing, use these instructions to update your LinkedIn profile.

Add Your Designation After Your Name

If you have earned the CFA or CIPM designation and are an active member in good standing, you may include your designation after your name. For example, Jane Doe, CFA or John Smith, CIPM.
