Investment innovations webinar series session 1 - Bridging the gap: financing climate action in emerging markets

Overview

In a rapidly evolving industry, finance professionals are navigating complex challenges and transformative technologies. Join us for two engaging panel discussions that explore how the industry is responding to these shifts - from sustainable development in emerging markets to the use of generative AI in investment management. These conversations bring together thought leaders to share insights, spark dialogue, and explore how innovation and collaboration can drive meaningful progress across the financial landscape.

About the session

As we continue to address climate change, the importance of ensuring finance flows to emerging markets continues to grow. Further complicating this issue is the need to address both mitigation and adaptation efforts at the same time, as movements towards net-zero have been slow. In this panel, we explore: transition finance, the role of private finance in bridging the gap, role of stakeholder engagement in driving change and identifying opportunities, and the role of global politics. Speakers can address these topics from the perspectives of their roles.
