The Graduate Outlook Survey 2026 is a global study by CFA Institute of more than 9,000 current and recent university graduates across 11 major markets.

The survey explores graduates’ career choices in today’s economic environment, along with their views on artificial intelligence (AI), the finance profession, and related industries. It also tracks questions from the 2023–2025 surveys to identify evolving career trends.

For the fourth consecutive year, finance ranked as the profession with the strongest career prospects, as graduates navigate an increasingly competitive, AI-augmented job market.
