CFA Institute Duplicate Account Policy

A single CFA Institute account is required for all interactions related to our products, programs, and services. This account serves as your official record and is associated with a unique CFA Institute ID.
Creating and/or using multiple accounts is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, attempts to:
- Register for multiple programs or certificates
- Reset exam attempts or circumvent limitations on exam attempts
- Restart participation in the CFA® or CIPM® Programs
- Submit multiple scholarship applications
- Bypass restrictions or holds on an existing account
If you are experiencing issues accessing your account, please contact CFA Institute for assistance rather than creating a new account.
