CFA Institute Reports Results for CIPM® Testing in September
CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals, announces today the results for the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM®) examinations administered during the period 16-30 September.
Of 124 candidates who sat for the Level I CIPM examination in September, 42% have passed. Of 123 candidates who sat for the Level II CIPM examination in September, 44% have passed. Successful Level II candidates will receive their CIPM designation upon successful verification of experience and CFA Institute membership requirements. All candidates will be notified of their results today.

The CIPM Program is the leading professional designation dedicated to effective investment performance evaluation and manager selection. Its curriculum is based on an advanced body of knowledge that is continually reviewed and updated by investment practitioners to ensure it comprehensively reflects the competencies needed to succeed in today’s financial industry.
To earn the CIPM designation, a candidate must pass two exams, become a member of CFA Institute, meet professional experience requirements, and maintain a minimum of 15 credits of continuing education annually. CFA® charterholders and candidates who have successfully completed Level III of the CFA Program may proceed directly to Level II of the CIPM Program.

CIPM examinations are administered through computer-based testing. Candidates in the September CIPM administration sat for their exam at a proctored examination venue in one of 40 markets worldwide. CIPM exam registration is currently open for the March 2023 examination sitting.
