CIPM Exam: Enroll and Register

Ready to register for the CIPM® exam? Pursuing your investment management certification is a significant personal and professional step. If you are registering for the Level I exam for the first time, you must enroll in the CIPM Program as part of exam registration.

The CIPM Program is not yet offered globally. We are working to expand the certificate into additional markets. At this time, for example, we are not able to test candidates on mainland China. We are working with local regulators to obtain approval to test candidates in the region. Once approval is obtained, we will update this notice.  Please review the complete list of test center locations before registering.

Updates and Policies for CIPM Registration

Residents of certain countries are not able to register for the CIPM exam. Review the OFAC Policy to check if there are any sanctions on your country that would prevent your CIPM registration. The CIPM Program is not yet offered globally. We are working to expand the certificate into additional markets. At this time, for example, we are not able to test candidates on mainland China. We are working with local regulators to obtain approval to test candidates in the region. Once approval is obtained, we will update this notice.

CFA Institute reserves the right to prematurely close CIPM registration and scheduling dates as conditions warrant.
